Most of Learning Pembrokeshire's adult education classes are due to start next week, but a few have been delayed as they need a few more enrolments.

So if you haven't reserved a place yet, contact your local centre as soon as possible. Some classes only need a few more enrolments so your 'phone call could make all the difference.

There is a wide range of courses on offer to appeal to a wide audience. If it's a language you want then chose from there is French, German, Greek, Italian or Welsh.

If you want to gain a qualification then there is GCSE English, maths and A-Level English.

Practical and craft courses include a variety of art courses, bow making, cake decorating, Chinese brushwork, creative writing, felt-making, driftwood craft, handmade books, jewellery making (with beads or silver) pottery, sewing, stained glass and woodwork.

If you are looking to stretch your brain, how about philosophy or the history and philosophy of Chinese art.

October 5: Tenby - art (life drawing), cushion making.

October 19: Pembroke Dock - cushion making, emergency first aid.
