Saundersfoot Sports AFC's second string came very close to getting a result away to table-toppers Milford United on Saturday, but were denied a worthy point by a late, late goal.

With the scores tied at 2-2, the league leaders showed why they are in pole position for promotion this season by snatching the winner two minutes from time.

Saundersfoot had taken the lead twice during the first half, with Carl Wainwright returning to the side and grabbing a brace.

However, Milford hit back, with McCarthy equalising twice, the second coming from the penalty spot just before the break.

Matthew Charnley grabbed the winner right at the death to inflict defeat on a very unlucky Saundersfoot side.
