Pembrokeshire County Council has started work at Carding Mill Lane in Narberth as part of a programme to repair and upgrade footpaths and bridleways in the area.

The aim is to link the paths and bridleways with a multi-user route to Canaston, which is in the process of being constructed.

Initially, the work will focus on unblocking a drainpipe at Carding Mill Lane and clearing the footpath.

When that is completed, a survey of the footpath will be undertaken with a view to repairing or rebuilding it so that it becomes a popular link to the multi-user route.
