Amroth Community Council have shared information confirming that the public footpath between New Inn and Telpyn has been closed due to a landslide.

Posting correspondence on social media from Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority’s Access and Rights of Way Manager, the information on Monday stated: “In places, part of the public footpath has been lost due to the landslide, its approaches are unstable as a result of erosion and undercutting.

“Although this areas falls outside the National Park, the National Park Authority has an interest in the management of the Wales Coast Path and is working closely with Pembrokeshire County Council to ensure the affected section of Coast Path is closed off and signed appropriately as a matter of urgency.

“In the longer term, we will be assisting the Council with regard to the management of an alternative route,” they added.
