THIS month will see the launch of the much-awaited Landsker Poetry Prize. The competition is being administered by the Narberth NCF.
The prizes will cover the following: humorous, wistful and serious. The age groups will be children under 14, juniors 15-18 and adults, in both Welsh and English language.
All entries must be submitted by the end of April when a panel of judges will make a shortlist of entries. Then a gala poetry evening will be held at the Queen's Hall in June.
The competition is open to anyone in West Wales and all poems must be entered with a completed entry form, which, along with a set of rules, may be obtained from Mr. Richard Ford, of Appletree Cottage, Spring Gardens, Narberth, tel. 01834 861311.
