Last Sunday saw this usually boisterous Pembrokeshire League clash held at Haverfordwest. Tenby scored in the first five minutes through another excellent goal from Annie Rossiter, who is challenging for the top goal scorer's position.

Pembroke retaliated, but Tenby's defence held. Other goal-scoring opportunities were deflected by the post and from then onwards Tenby's fortunes changed.

Pembroke scored an equaliser with a two-on-one situation on the Tenby goalie and, despite continuing to play with a degree of fluency, the Seasiders could not capitalise upon chances created, leaving the half-time score at 1-1.

In the second half, Pembroke could see they had a great chance of victory and their aggressive play earned them the reward of two further goals.

The first came from a penalty corner struck at the top of the 'D' which accurately hit the backboard to the far right of the Tenby goalie. The second came from a free hit outside the circle, taken by Jenny Cadogan and converted by Louise Turberfield, who was lingering unmarked to the right of the goal.

Tenby's attempts at counter-attacks were consistently thwarted and then the heavens opened, adding to their sorrow. Wet and miserable summed up the whole of the second half.
