Over 50 ladies attended a very successful fund-raising lunch at Swallow Tree, Saundersfoot, recently. It was arranged by Mrs. Denise Towns and each lady generously purchased a £10 raffle ticket, with all proceeds going to Tenovus.
A further function will be held today (Friday), a ladies dinner this time, with guest speaker Mrs. Ruth Webb. This is also fully booked, and the ladies attending have again pledged to buy a raffle ticket each.
The raffle prizes are excellent and further tickets are available at New Hedges Post Office, the Tenovus shop and at Swallow Tree.
It is hoped to raise additional funds on Friday evening by the auction of two chefs for a night! The two Swallow Tree chefs, Debbie Neale and Melanie Fairman, will cook a menu of your choice, in your own home, for up to 12 guests. A beautiful waitress will also be provided!
Anyone who is not able to attend the dinner, but who would like to support Denise and bid for the chefs is welcome to leave their bid at Swallow Tree reception (812398).
