Chairman Sian welcomed everyone to the June meeting and thanked Brenda for hosting. A warm welcome was extended to president Karen and honouree Debs, who were presented with their badges.

Sian reported on an eventful walk around Llys y Fran Dam in aid of Diabetes UK, with Jayne and Julia.

Despite the rain at the start, the three walked the eight miles in about 1.5 hours.

The Area Handover took place on Saturday at Parc y Scarlets, Llanelli.

The 'Full Length and Fabulous' ball in aid of NSPCC will take place at the De Valence on June 27. A few tickets are remaining - if anyone is interested, contact Sian.

The Flower Festival will take place at St. Mary's Church, Tenby. between July 2 and 5, with Circle invigilating from 4 to 5 pm on July 4.

The Summer Spectaculars will take place on July 26 and August 9. Each Circler is asked to provide 4lbs of dough. If you are unable to be at the event, please get your dough to another Circler. The afternoon will start at 3 pm.

Help is requested at the Rotary function on July 19, to help with the bucket collection.

Ideas are wanted for the Firemen's Carnival on August 5.

Details are being looked into for a possible Barn Dance later in the year. Sian asked Circle to think of charities that could be supported this year.

Jayne C reported that the summer dinner would be held on July 18 at the New Overlander; the evening is open to guests. Please contact Jayne C for more details.

November 21 has been pencilled in for the Christmas dinner, which will be held at the Broadmead Hotel.

A reminder is also given that subs are now due.

Jayne presented Debs with her past president's bar and badge.

Katrina Vickery and Louise Bradley were inducted into Circle.

A letter of resignation was received from Melanie Rogers.

All Circlers were reminded that meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month, and any apologies are to be given to the chairman.

The next meeting will be held at the home of Kath Morgan on July 9.
