When asked by one of the organisers what song he would like to record, he said that he had chosen a song called 'Sometimes I Wonder', with the message being, pain won't be here forever. He told them that this song meant a lot to him, as it made him think of all the families that had been affected by the war in Afghanistan.
He went on to say, what he really wanted to do was make a music dvd with a storyline and then sell it to raise money for Help For Heroes charity.
Local community film make Sharron Harries from Curious Ostrich film productions, Gary Tapley, local actor, and Miranda Rees Davies, Tenby Arts Festival, decided it would be nice to let him have his wish. Kristian had very definite ideas about what he wanted for his storyline and with the help of Gary and Sharron, they were able to film it; everyone was very keen to let him have as much input as possible, even down to designing his own cover.
The dvd is now complete and Kristian will be launching it on B. B. Skone's local music show, this Sunday, May 8, at 7 pm. If you wish to purchase a copy, it will be available from Dales Music, Tenby, Tenby Junior School, Robinson's Newsagents, Pembroke, and Albion Stores, Pembroke Dock. Priced at £3.99, all profits will go to Help For Heroes.
Kristian would like to say a very big thank you to everyone who has helped to make his wish come true.
