IN early March, woolly hats, scarves and balaclavas, knitted by volunteers at Day Centres in Carmarthen, Fishguard, Milford Haven, Pembroke Dock and Tenby, were handed to Fr. John Dermody, Parish Priest at St. Mary's, Pembroke Dock, who received them on behalf of the Apostleship of the Sea, for seamen.
Mrs. Ann Tasker and Mrs. Josephine Crotch, of the Ladies Guild, St Teilo's RC Church, Tenby, requested Mrs. Mary Squirrel, RSVP organiser, to assist them in this splendid charitable effort.
