Pictured enjoying some exercise on the beach at Manorbier this week, are horses and soldiers from the 'Centre Section' of the The King's Troop Royal Artillery (RHA).
Each year, three sections from The King's Troop deploy to seaside locations around the UK to conduct training and to give both horses and soldiers a respite from the rigours of ceremonial duties in London.
This year, under the command of Captain Al Markwick RHA, the 'Centre Section', which is made up of around 30 horses and 28 male and female soldiers, have headed to Manorbier to the Air Defence Range.
Having recently taken part in the Windsor Castle Royal Tattoo, the Queen's Birthday Parade and the Royal Welsh Show, the Section have enjoyed a break from duties and the opportunity to be able to take the horses for a gallop on the beach and a swim in the sea.
