The Prince's Trust, in conjunction with Pembrokeshire County Council and Begelly Kilgetty Community Association, are hosting a Youth Forum next Monday, December 8, in the Community Hall, Kilgetty.
The event, which starts at 4.30 pm, will give the young people the opportunity to have their say about the future development of the two villages.
Lynne Chattoe from The Prince's Trust, who has organised the event, said: "This is a great way for the young people to come along and put forward their ideas about what they would like to see in the area.
"They can tell us exactly what facilities are needed and we can discuss how we can all work together to achieve their aims and ideas. Everyone aged from 12 to 25 is welcome to drop in for a chat and general discussion."
County Councillor David Pugh commented: "Now that the PCC Youth Zone Bus visits Kilgetty every Monday evening, it is important that we listen to the youngsters and give them the opportunity to have their say and some direct input into the future developments that are planned. Often their views are overlooked, but they are the generation that will gain most in the long term.
"I hope that not only the young people will take this chance, but that parents will also encourage their teenagers to come along and take part in the first Youth Forum. It has been organised for their benefit and I would like to see plenty of support."
The Kilgetty Youth Forum is on Monday, December 8, at 4.30 pm, in Kilgetty Community Hall.
