President Kath welcomed ladies to meeting on May 10.

Kath expressed sympathy to Astrid and her sister Hillary on the sad loss of their mum.

Anne outlined details of the trip in June, reminding members to meet at Kilgetty Community Centre at 9.30 am on Tuesday, June 14.

Kath picked out items of interest from May’s Pembrokeshire Federation newsletter. She asked if all members were receiving the monthly letter, as there are several new members.

Speaker for the evening was Mr. Tudor Thomas who spoke on the history of St Catherine’s Island Tenby. He explained about the on going refurbishment and the opening now of the daily tours depending on the tides. A welcome cuppa and cake followed the talk where members were able to mingle and chat.

The raffle was won by Eileen. Jill was the winner of the competition.

The next meeting will be on July 17 at 7 pm. The speaker will be Melaine Collier who be giving a demonstration of Belly Dancing! Visitors are always welcome: Come and see what it’s all about.
