Issues of anti-social behaviour in Kilgetty continue to be flagged-up by local councillors, with members of the public urged to report any incidents to the local authorities, especially any instances around the town’s railway station.

Another meeting of the ‘Anti-Social Behaviour Problem Solving Group’ took place recently to look at continuing issues, with representatives from the Police, Community Councillors and other local stakeholders all attending.

“There have been previous concerns about youths getting on the railway track and putting themselves in danger,” County Councillor for the ward Cllr Alistair Cameron told members of Kilgetty and Begelly Community Council recently, stating that the Transport Police had been asked to attend the meeting as a matter of priority.

“Residents are requested to report any issues of similar concern or anti-social behaviour to the police. If it is not an emergency, please ring 101 or use the Dyfed-Powys Police website.

“This is important so that the police have an accurate record of issues in the area, and they can use their resources accordingly.”

Cllr Cameron said that they had invited a volunteer who is helping to run a Youth Club in Saundersfoot to attend, so that they can get some ideas about starting a Club in Kilgetty.
