Kilgetty and District amateur gardening club
Mr. Melvyn Grey, a professional photographer, transported members to the Pyrenees for the March meeting. The slides of his trip brought the wonderful wild flowers and birds in glorious close-up, showing all the amazing details and colour.
Landscapes showing poppies and orchids, among green valleys amid snow-clad mountains, gave many an urge to visit this beautiful area.
Members of the club were pleased to be able to purchase cards from a large array featuring close-up photographs of birds, flowers and animals.
The next meeting will be the Spring Show at the RAOB Club, Station Road, Kilgetty, on Monday, April 6, at 7.15 pm, where it is hoped to have a good display of spring flowers and pot plants. All welcome.

Following the presentations, entertainment resumed with Double Image.
Every year, the Brothers of the Lodge take part in a series of competitions for the Howard Phillips Memorial Trophy, and this year it was won by a newly-initiated brother, Mr. Carl Spiers. As well as winning the trophy, he was presented with a cheque which he donated to breast cancer.
