Cricket club thanks
During the recent Kilgetty Fun Day, Kilgetty Cricket Club raised funds for their junior teams by holding a stall where the public were asked to guess the quantity of balloons in a car. The correct amount was 104 balloons, which was guessed by Shauna Rowell, of Begelly. Shauna won a fish and chip supper for two, which was very kindly donated by L. and S. Jones and Son, Haulage Contractors, of Kilgetty - thanks Lyndon and Suzie! A second prize of a bottle of wine, kindly donated by Hugh and Joan Beynon, of Kilgetty, was drawn from a hat as five contestants guessed to within one number of the winning total. This was won by Barry Ormond, of Kilgetty. The cricket club wishes to thank Lloyds Bank and New Look, Tenby, for donating balloons and special thanks are conveyed to Kilgetty Fun Day committee for giving local charities the opportunity to raise funds.
