Every entrant in the Kilgetty in Bloom competition received an invitation to the presentation at the community centre on Friday afternoon.

The hall had been decorated with flowers and pictures of the willow horse, drawn by Stepaside schoolchildren and the ladies of the community association provided scones topped with strawberries and cream.

Wayne Dowzell, the association chairman, presented the trophies and certificates to the winners and a raffle was held.

PLANED representatives, provided a display board with photographs showing the building of the Bull Dog Tunnel garden feature, which had been officially opened before the presentation by Eiler Lewis, the tutor from Pembrokeshire College.
