After a strawberry tea, provided by the environmental group, the chairman of the Begelly Kilgetty Community Association, Wayne Dowzell, presented the 15 trophies and certificates.
Previously, the Gary Walters Trophy, for environmental work, had been presented to Class 3 at Stepaside School assembly, along with two shields to Ryan Evans and Sammy Rossiter for work on the school flowerbeds, as the poster competition, usually judged by the environmental group, hadn't taken place this year.
A raffle completed the afternoon and photographs taken at the event were then displayed in Kilgetty Chemist window, for entrants to order if they wished.
The environmental group then began planning for their next event, which was running the village tea tent and stalls at the Kilgetty Fun Day. All profits go towards the plants for next year's village flowerbeds and the community garden.
