An overcast day at Bancyfelin saw some high scoring from the 'Lads' of the KGS - the handicapper will have a field day with his scissors! Six groups of three and two groups of four set off to pit their skills against the well-prepared course. John 'Scribe' James 39 pts, Mike 'Scrubs' Burke 31, Frank 'Rigger' Simmons 41 - total 111. Alan 'Scotty' Taylor 44 pts, Richard 'Nelson' Davies 18, Steve 'Stetson' Oulsnam 26 - total 88. Barry 'Chippy' Wood 41 pts, Gary 'Compo' Hopkins 36, Mark 'Woody' Wood 36 - total 113. Adrian 'Lightning' Allman 30 pts, Keith 'Lukewarm' Warmington 35, Darrell 'Ex-rods' Jones 35 - total 100. Individual winner - Alan 'Scotty' Taylor, 44 pts; second on countback Barry 'Chippy' Wood 41 pts and in third place Frank 'Rigger' Simmons. Over 20 handicap - Alan '44' Taylor. OAP - 'Chippy' Wood (he definitely needs his handicap chopped!). Nearest the pin -Lenny 'Lee' Lewis, who also had a two. longest drive once again went to the 'Mighty Mouse' - how does he do it! The wooden spoon was presented to Richard 'Nelson' Davies - he's making a collection of them. Finally, the team prize, with a total of 113 pts, went to 'Chippy', 'Compo' and 'Woody'.
