Before the start of the October meeting of Kilgetty Begelly Community Council, which was chaired by by Clr. Anderson, members were informed of the death of Mr. John Copp.
Out of respect, a minute's silence was observed in order to reflect on the many years Mr. Copp had willingly given to serving on the council and the Community Association.
The council sent their sincere condolences to Mrs. Copp and family.
The following items were discussed at the meeting:
There was a problem with dog fouling in various areas of the village. Dog owners were reminded to clean up after their dogs and dispose of the waste in the rubbish bins provided.
The new play areahad been completed. The council commented on how lovely the Community Garden was. The council passed on their thanks to the Environmental Group.
The Queen's Jubilee was discussed. A bench or tree to mark the event were popular suggestions. The matter will be discussed again closer to the event.
