PLANED are currently creating a Draft Development Plan for the Kilgetty, Begelly, Reynalton and Thomas Chapel areas. The community council have been asked to comment on it to ensure that it is up to date and correct.
Following this talk, the council moved on to the business of the evening, with Clr. Pendleton being elected as new chairman and Clr. Ward as vice-chairman.
Outgoing chairman Clr Andrews was thanked for his work over the past year and was presented with a commemorative shield.
The Good Neighbour Scheme will start shortly in Kilgetty and Begelly. All local homes have received a questionnaire asking if they would like to volunteer for the scheme or if they require the services of the scheme. Anyone requiring further information can contact Rachel Gibby at Pembrokeshire County Council.
The Safe Routes to School proposal was approved by the Welsh Assembly Government. Work has started and will be completed by March 2010.
The pupils of Greenhill School will receive a letter of thanks for the willow weaving work they have done.

Indoor bowls is available to all ages at the Community Centre on Mondays, 2 - 4.30 pm, and Thursday evenings, 7 - 9.30 pm.
