Kevin Davies of Wolfscastle is this year’s winner of the Learn Welsh Pembrokeshire ‘Learner of the Year’ award.

Kevin uses every opportunity to speak Welsh. He attends coffee and chat sessions around the county and volunteers with Menter Iaith Sir Benfro at events.

“I am very happy to receive this award. The Welsh language has become an important part of my life since moving to Pembrokeshire,” he said.

“I am looking forward in continuing to use my Welsh when volunteering at events and raising money for the 2026 National Eisteddfod and encouraging others to learn the language.” said Kevin Davies.

Tim and Julie Kirby were the joint winners of this year’s Learn Welsh Pembrokeshire Best Effort Award.

Both have attended Sadyrnau Siarad, supplementary courses and Welsh events in their local community.
