In December, dogs and owners from School for Dogs in Begelly participated in the bronze level of the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme.
Testing was performed by local dog warden, Debbie Hart, and the successful participants were: Caroline with Woody (Black Labrador); Gaynor with Barney (Great Dane); Sarah with Bethan (Chocolate Labrador); Joyce with Henry (Chocolate Labrador); Jo with Moley (Jack Russell Terrier) and Dini with Bella (Doberman/Collie-cross).
The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme is designed to promote responsible dog ownership and courses are run by qualified dog training instructors at puppy, bronze, silver and gold levels. Anyone wishing to take part in the scheme can do so by contacting Carole Husein on 01834 813836.
