Sir, I am writing to record my opposition to the proposals for NHS reorganisation in Mid and West Wales contained in the document 'Designed to Deliver'. These proposals have, quite rightly, been met with considerable dismay by people living in Pembrokeshire. It is clear that which ever option is finally decided on, many patients will be faced with even longer journeys than they are experiencing at present to access NHS treatment. I believe it should be a priority to keep health care local and I am totally opposed to any cutbacks in services or closure of Withybush Hospital.
