Pembrokeshire County Council would like everyone to have fun on Red Nose Day - Friday, March 13 - this year.

The biennial event helps raise millions of pounds for charities in the UK and Africa and Pembrokeshire residents always do their bit.

However, the council also advises people to check with the local authority if they intend to do something 'funny for money' this year as they might need a permit or permission.

For instance, if you are planning to pre-sell raffle tickets, collect money in the street, sell merchandise in the street or have a musical event in the school or community hall, you may require permission.

If you require a temporary event notice for your event on March 13, the last day for submission is February 26.

To make sure that fund-raising goes smoothly, please contact the licensing team at Pembrokeshire County Council for advice by email at [email protected]">[email protected] or telephone 01437 764551.
