KCF West Wales are an all age church who meet every Sunday morning at 10.30 am at the Queen's Hall, Narberth. On Friday, despite the snow, the worship band gathered at The Courthouse, to spend the day together, praying, encouraging and rehearsing. The band, which uses guitars, keyboards, flute, pennywhistle, fiddle, together with the Celtic drum, has a distinctive sound. Bringing internationally known, modern songs with a good rhythm and old hymns reset to Celtic, folk type tunes, the worship is vibrant, uplifting and moving. Above all else, it is for God. On Sunday morning we felt the benefit of the time they had given to pray and pursue their goal of serving God. Quite unwittingly they were a superb visual aid for the speaker, Phil Prosser, who continued the theme 'What kind of house will you build for me?' He spoke on God's house being 'a house of ministry'. The true hallmarks of ministry in this house, are not drive and ambition, but humility and servanthood. Recognising God has placed people for mutual encouragement and furthering the good news. Given gifts within the church 'for the equipping of the saints to do the work of service'. This is a safeguard not a restraint. KCF are part of the Evangelical Alliance and a registered charity. Our main offices are in Market Square, Narberth.
