Synchronize - young people drawn from circles across Pembrokeshire met on Friday night at the Courthouse in Narberth. The evening was one of lively music, with a band leading the singing, plus various speakers from their own age group. Synchronize have a passion for God and have bi- monthly events with a cutting edge presentation of new life in Christ. KCF met at the Queen's Hall on Sunday, following on from Church in the House at the Courthouse the previous Sunday. The speaker was Paul Dando who spoke on 'the waiting Father'. The father, who lovingly waited for his son to 'come to his senses' and then graciously ran to meet him. The story told of four seasons - one of autumn, and departure when the son left home. A season of winter despair as life does not turn out as he thought would happen when on his own. A spring of decision when he 'comes to his senses' and decides to return. A triumphant season of summer delight when the father meets him and puts a robe on him, a ring on his finger and shoes on his feet. This speaks of God our heavenly Father, longingly waiting for us to turn from the way we are living to realise it's time to 'come home' and commit our lives to Him.
