Kayakers got into difficulty off Castle Beach, Tenby, shortly before 3 pm last Thursday.

Tenby and Manorbier Coastguard Rescue Teams, along with the South Pembrokeshire sector manager, were tasked, but RNLI lifeguards at Castle Beach, who were also in attendance, were able to effect a rescue before the units arrived on scene.

No medical attention was required by the casualties.
