Tenby Sochin Karate Club held their forth grading examination on Friday with great success. Classes have continued to grow over the past year and have seen a steady increase in members and standard.

The club, which trains at Tenby Leisure Centre, Marsh Road, on Wednesdays (3.45 to 5.45 pm) and Fridays (4 to 6 pm) is run by Sensei James Masterman who would like to congratulate all members on their determination and hard work.

Rachel Williams 3rd Kyu, Kelis Davies 6th Kyu, Sofia Hill 7th Kyu, Robbie Ashton 7th Kyu, Archie Dilks 7th Kyu, Charlie Sangster 7th Kyu, Jake Henson 7th Kyu, Jay Connor 7th Kyu, Kieran Connor 7th Kyu, Kiara Connor 8th Kyu, William Bull 8th Kyu, Luke Cawton 8th Kyu, Steve Masterman 8th Kyu, Leo Reeve 8th Kyu, Kurt Reeve 8th Kyu, Stefan Williams 8th Kyu, Harry Thomas 9th Kyu, Kezia O'Connor 9th Kyu, Frankie Hanlon-Boyd 9th Kyu, Alex Attwell 9th Kyu, Amanda Twidale 9th Kyu, all passed their grading exam successfully and did extremely well.

Also, taking away this term's most improved student awards were Jake Henson and Kiara Connor after both showed a marked improvement in attitude, knowledge and technique.

The club teaches Traditional Shotokan Karate and Self Protection techniques with emphasis on awareness and avoidance skills and welcomes new members from six years upwards. Children and adults, male and female, beginner and advanced students are all welcome.

James also holds classes throughout Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and the Swansea Valley.
