Last Sunday saw the first session of coaching for the juniors of the club, with a number of friendly games planned, leading up hopefully to the formation next year of a junior league.
We were hoping that most of those who graced the scene last season in their Junior Finals Day would make a return to the fold. Thankfully most did, and the coaches are hopeful of putting out a strong squad in the games. Quite a few of the youngsters show some real talent, and I have no doubt they will soon be representing the club in the league along with their older counterparts.
Any youngsters who would like to come along and join in these coaching sessions, on a Sunday morning, are asked to come along for a 10.30 am start. Please bring, if possible, a change of shoes (preferably flat-soled ones please). Tthere is no charge for the first season.
