Pembrokeshire County Council's contractors are to start works on a major improvement scheme between Pembroke and Pembroke Dock.

The work is to take place at the Ferry Lane/Pembroke Road and Bush Hill/Buttermilk Lane staggered junction.

The aim is to improve safety and pedestrian facilities by installing traffic signals on all four arms of the junction.

Temporary lights are to be set-up from Monday, November 10.

Traffic delays during the works will be inevitable as four-way temporary lights are required for the works.

The council will be working with their contractors to keep these delays to a minimum.

Ground works and signal cabling will be carried out in the six weeks before Christmas.

The works will resume after a break to install the signals and re-surface the road.
