Pembrokeshire jive fans are in for a great treat next week as South Wales' top jump-jive band, The Jiveoholics, visit the county for the first time to play not one, but two heart stopping performances in as many days.
The band will make their first appearance at De Valence, Tenby, on Wednesday, October 22, and the second at the Bunch of Grapes, Newcastle Emlyn, on Thursday, October23.
The Jiveoholics present a humorous, high energy set, featuring the music of Louis Jordan, Cab Calloway and Louis Prima that was all the rage in the 1940s and early 1950s.
The six-piece band faithfully recreate a whole host of classic jump-jive hits that had people rocking and rolling in the aisles years before rock 'n' roll had even been invented and both evenings will most definitely go with a swing.
