Special needs children in Pembrokeshire are jumping for joy again! The children, who attend Holly House short-break unit, were left distraught when vandals destroyed the safety netting around their trampoline just before Christmas. Now a Pembrokeshire-based trampoline company has stepped in to enable the children to bounce in safety again. Atlantic Trampolines, of Pembroke Dock, has donated new safety netting for the facility. "We're very grateful to the company for their kind donation," said Clr. Islwyn Howells, cabinet member for children and young people. "The children were very distressed by the vandalism, but now they can jump around on the trampoline without any risk of falling off." Holly House is a short-break unit in Haverfordwest for special needs children from across the county. Vandals not only broke £250 worth of trampoline netting in the garden, but also wrecked some of their work.
