Tenby bowler, Julia King-Thomas's reign as Welsh Women's Bowling Association president came to a memorable end on Saturday.
And one of her final duties was to present all the winners of the national competitions with their gleaming silverware - including her county team-mates Viv Edwards and Ann Lewis, of Saundersfoot BC, who won the four-wood pairs.
Another local trophy winner was teenager Ysie White, of the Tenby club, who was runner-up in the Under 16s singles, but she was not present to receive her award.
At the association's annual general meeting at the Park Inn, Cardiff, Julia reflected on her year in office.
Highlights had included supporting the Welsh team at the World Championships in New Zealand in January, leading the senior and junior international teams out at their home internationals in Belfast and Penarth, respectively - and, of course, proudly receiving the runners-up trophies following both events - hosting the Welsh semi-finals and finals in Tenby and presiding over an invitation Welsh game, also at Tenby, against West Wales Ladies to mark their 25th anniversary.
Julia particularly thanked her clubmates at Tenby for their support, especially during the two-day Welsh semi-finals and finals.
She also thanked her county, West Wales, for all their support and said it had been a honour to be Welsh president during the association's silver anniversary year.
"It has been a wonderful and thoroughly enjoyable year," she said.
Julia presented the chain of office to Bet Davies, of Lampeter, and in turn received her past president's badge from Bet.
West Wales Ladies Bowling Association president, Audrey Owens, also of Tenby, was one of the guests at the lunch, together with Ann Thomas, WWLBA secretary, of Haverfordwest.
