Jules Hudson, presenter of TV's Escape To The Country, devoted Sunday, August 19, to travel some distance to Pembrokeshire to be the special guest to start the annual RNLI run and walk on Castlemartin Range, organised by the Pembroke Ladies Lifeboat Guild.
Billa Schleicher, of All Pets Vet Care, Milford Haven, also gave her day to judge the dog show.
So far, the event has raised in excess of £2,000 so far.
The organisers' gratitude goes to Jules, Billa, Major B. Inglis MBE and RSM B. James, of the British Army, Angle Vintage Tractors, who all worked tirelessly before, during and after the day, Keith, the DJ, RNLI lifeguards, Stormy Stan (aka Nathan, Angle crew), Guild members, their families, friends, supporters and their dogs, plus sponsors, Valero, Anthony Williams, of Nigel Williams Butcher, Haverfordwest, Princes Gate Water, Llanion Signs and Burns Pet Nutrition.
