Sageston CP School re-created the Jubilee with their Year 6 children as the main players.

They were: Queen Elizabeth - Charlie Oakley; Prince Phillip - Rhys O'Mara; The Archbishop Of Canterbury - Jake Jones; Ladies in Waiting - Rosie Richards and Megan Prest-Morgan.

The party arrived in style in a Jaguar driven by Mr. Reg Palmer and then the service was en-acted.

All of the other children, from one-year-olds at Mother and Toddler Group to 10-year-olds in Year 5, dressed up as kings, queens, princes or princesses of the various countries throughout the world still to have a royal family, such as Holland, Spain or Malaysia!

Chair of Governors, Mr. John Brock, was dressed as Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill.

Following the ceremony, a huge banquet was held in the playground, after a rousing speech by Sir Winston Churchill.
