Jordan Howell from Narberth was delighted to receive the news last week that he has been selected to play for the Wales Under 11s cricket squad. Jordan (pictured) started playing cricket for Narberth at the age of seven and showed a natural flair for bowling. At the age of eight, he was selected to play for Pembrokeshire Under 10s and was given the opportunity to open the bowling. Jordan currently plays for Narberth Under 11s and 13s and is captain of the Pembrokeshire Under 11s squad. He is an opening bowler and middle order batsman. During the winter months, Jordan has been training with the Welsh development squad in Neath having fantastic coaching with Jeremy Cartwright, Alan Jones, John Steele and John Derrick. Jordan has received tremendous support and encouragement from all at Narberth Cricket Club, his parents Richard and Rhian, grandparents John, Heather, Roland and Yvonne, and Narberth Primary School. Narberth Cricket Club is very proud that Jordan has made the squad and wish him every sucess in representing Wales.
