NEW president of Haverfordwest Chamber of Commerce is Mr. John Hughes.
Currently manager of the town's Woolworth store, he was elected at the group's AGM held at the Hotel Mariners.
John was president of Tenby Chamber of Trade and Tourism for four years, before moving to work in Haverfordwest.
John, who still lives in Tenby, has 28 years retail experience. He has lived in Pembrokeshire for 15 years and is a fluent Welsh speaker.
Outgoing president, Mr. Roland Keevil, thanked members of the executive for their support during a year that had seen the introduction of seasonal town guides offering a 'meet and greet' service, as well as growth in the Town Centre Partnership website, which was receiving 2,500 visits per month and over 40,000 hits.
