Jodie Marie came back to her hometown of Narberth on Friday, September 18, to a rapturous welcome at the Queen’s Hall.

Joined by guitarist Jimmy Brewer, Tom Sinnett playing bass and Jack Beddis on the drums, Jodie celebrated the launch of her new, highly-acclaimed second album, Trouble in Mind, released in July.

The combination of beautiful songwriting and stunning vocals was spellbinding. Influenced by Jodie’s love of blues, soul and jazz, the evening was effortlessly magical: another great concert organised by Span Arts.

Support acts Benjamin Mason and Matthew Frederick were both worth hearing a second time.

The next Span Arts music event is Graham Pike and The John Gibbon Trio at the Dingle Club, Narberth on Wednesday, October 21.
