Jazz fans in Pembrokeshire who can't get to Brecon Jazz this year can see one of the featured stars of the festival in Narberth next Tuesday. Mornington Locket who has a big reputation as an entertaining musician with lots to say, will play a gig at the Plas Hyfryd Hotel, Narberth, on Tuesday, August 14, promoted by Span Arts. Mornington Lockett was born in London, but grew up on the Isle of Wight, where he began playing jazz, sitting-in with local traditional and mainstream bands while attending Cowes High School. In Narberth, he will play with the John Gibbon Trio, starting at 8 pm. Tickets are £8 and available from Span Arts (01834) 869323.
