Celebrity chef Marco Pierre White has been sampling delicious cooking delights from others this weekend, on separate visits to popular eateries in Tenby and Kilgetty.
Firstly, the TV personality revisited ‘Rib and Oyster’ in Kilgetty for a ‘catch up’ on Saturday night - an establishment he has dined at before, after forming a connection with owner Gavin Davies (a fisherman by trade) who was once asked to deliver a fresh catch to the ITV studios for a cooking segment with Marco on This Morning.
Then, on Sunday, Marco made a visit to the seaside town of Tenby, to enjoy a roast dinner at the On George’s restaurant run by Doug Waters, who posted on social media: “Well it’s not every day your hero for over 30 years pops in for Sunday lunch!
“Marco Pierre White...what an absolute gentleman, and a pleasure to serve.”
On Friday night, Rib and Oyster shared a pic of Marco with staff, posting on Facebook: “Mr Marco Pierre White made a return visit to us this evening!
“He throughly enjoyed his seafood - 'finger licking good!' was Marco's words!
“Marco, ever the gentleman made time to sit and chat to the team, we are very fortunate and grateful to have him here with us.”
