AN art show with a difference has gone on display at Pembroke Dock Library. The 100-strong show is the work of students attending Learning Pembrokeshire art classes at the Pembroke Dock Community Learning Centre. Many only took up painting when they retired and some had barely lifted a brush before they began the classes last September. The exhibition was opened by Clr. David Simpson, cabinet member for small and medium-sized enterprises and lifelong learning and skills. "That so much of their work is on display is testament not only to the hard work of the students but also to the effort and patience of their tutors," he said. "This exhibition is truly a celebration of learning and achievement and shows us that it is never too late to learn." The exhibition will be on show until July 2.
