Publicity for the festival takes a number of different avenues. One is the internet web site which is already covered; obviously the design and preparation of the festival brochure is also of great importance.

The other advertising weapon is the power of the press and advertising in the right publications. Local advertising is at the forefront of the list, but national publications such as the Daily Telegraph and the BBC music magazine are on the list too.

Local radio plays its part as the festival get nearer.
