Pembrokeshire is once again gearing up for the hotly-anticipated Ironman Wales event, which will take place this weekend.
The world’s toughest triathlon will take place in South Pembrokeshire on Sunday, beginning with a 2.4mile swim off Tenby’s North Beach, followed by a 112-mile bike around the south of the county, and a 26.2mile run in and around Tenby.
On race day there are some road closures, restrictions and diversions in place to ensure athlete and spectator safety.
An interactive map with details on all the road closures and diversions is available on Pembrokeshire County Council’s website at www.pembrokeshire.gov.uk/ironman
The road closures also mean that the Coastal Cruiser bus (Service 387/388), which covers the Pembroke, Angle, Bosherston, Stackpole area, won’t be operating.
