Action from Ironman Wales will be shown on Channel 4 on Sunday, 7-7.55 am, and 8-8.55 am on C4 +1.

This TV programme is made by Dream Team Television, highlighting the best action from the course in one of the most exciting and dramatic Ironman races in recent years.

Said a spokesman for the TV company: "A total of 1,500 competitors take on the inaugural Ironman Wales.

"Starting in Tenby with a sea swim, the race takes in the history and natural beauty of Pembrokeshire, as the competitors strive to complete the greatest triathlon challenge.

"In the closely-fought pro race, Ironman UK winners Aaron Farlow and Kristin Moller are up against tough competition from athletes from the UK and around the world."
