Saundersfoot’s Team Littlefoot have completed their latest charity challenge to walk 700 miles at 70 in aid of Get The Boys a Lift (GTBAL).

Starting in October the Team which comprises of Lynn Knibbs, Debbie Ludlow and Lyn Sandall)attempted the 700@70 challenge for Lyn’s 70th birthday at the end of January.

Out walking every day from their homes on their own, because of covid restrictions - Lynn, Debbie and Lyn have battled with all sorts of weather conditions rain, wind, sunshine, sleet and ice, along with Storms Alex, Bella and Christoff!

They have all agreed that their next challenge maybe shouldn’t be undertaken during the winter months!

A second challenge sort of developed within this challenge during December when the Team realised that with a bit of a push they might be able to complete this challenge within 100 days, which they have successfully achieved.

So quite an achievement as a total of over 2,500 miles have been walked by the three intrepid Saundersfoot Strollers.

GTBAL is a local charity based in Dew Street in Haverfordwest where the ‘Boys’ run a drop- in Cafe/Centre where people with mental health and social problems can get help and support free of charge.

Team Littlefoot would like to thank everyone who has donated to their justgiving page in support of this charity- raising just over a £1,000 so far.
