Students at the Autism Centre at Pembroke Dock Comprehensive School were given a lesson in internet safety this week by a local police community safety officer.

PCSO Kelly John, of Pembroke Dock Police Station, delivered the presentation to 14 students who were all informed on how to stay safe when using the internet.

PCSO John used a video called 'Jigsaw' from CEOP (Child Exploitation On-Line Protection Centre) to show the children just how easy it is for people to lie about who they are and the importance of not giving out any personal details or digital images of themselves.

"The session was very successful and the children are now far more aware of how to use the internet safely," said PCSO John.
