Returning to the stage for their nationwade spring 2018 tour - the Remi Harris Trio play Tenby’s Caffe Vista this month.
Musically the show is a reflection of Remi’s artistic influences - with repertoire ranging from Django Reinhardt to Jimi Hendrix and all things in between - including new compositions from his anticipated third album.
Concert-goers will be treated to a night of virtuoso Gypsy Swing - with influences from jazz, blues, rock ’n’ roll, funk and world music - in what promises to be a stunning spectacular.
At the British Jazz Awards 2017, Remi came second place in the ‘Guitarist of the Year’ category - being beaten to the top slot by legendary Martin Taylor MBE, who describes Remi as ‘brilliant’.
Other recent highlights of Remi’s musical career include playing Montreal Jazz Festival, being asked by Jamie Cullum to accompany him at the BBC Proms, Acoustic Guitar Magazine naming him one of the ‘Acoustic Acts of 2017’, headlining numerous international festivals and playing countless prestigious venues around the world.
Remi will play Caffe Vista, which is located in Tenby’s Crackwell Street, on Friday. March 16, and perform again the following night in Pembrokeshire at Fishguard’s Theatr Gwaun.
