Sir,
I would like to add to Clr. Trevor Hallett's list of interesting birds. My husband, Jon Brace, spotted a Red Kite at Lamphey on Thursday afternoon, June 9. With reference to David
Morris spotting a porpoise at Monkstone - we have seen up to four porpoises at a time in that area over the last three months on several occasions. They are easily spotted and observed from the coast path. My son, Liam Ridgway, a commercial fisherman, often sees porpoises and dolphins further out to sea, but has recently seen porpoises close in to Saundersfoot harbour on early morning tides.
And finally - money does grow on trees! Has anyone spotted the 'money tree' in Swallowtree Woods?!
Penny Brace, Saundersfoot.
