Members of the Tenby Inner Wheel Club have been busy sending their festive presents out early this year, to bring some Christmas joy to children across the world.
The club has taken part once again in the Samaritan's Purse International Relief Operation Christmas Child initiative where shoe boxes filled with gifts for children have been collected locally to send out to children in Belarus and Swaziland.
"A total of 513 boxes have been collected and stored at the home of Inner Wheel member Betty Charnock again this year and we'd all like to thank the generosity of people who have donated again to the scheme in these current times," said Tenby Inner Wheel's overseas organiser Meryl Sharp.
"We are so grateful to everyone who has contributed to this worthwhile cause once again. We are all so happy to receive at this time of year and how wonderful it is to give as well," she added.
Tenby Inner Wheel president Jan Griffiths and her felllow members would like to thank the following organisations and businesses for their contributions to this year's Christmas boxes - St. Teilo's, St. Florence, Tenby Infant, Tenby Junior, Manorbier and Greenhill schools; Inner Wheel and Soroptimist members; St. Issell's Church; Mrs. Standing for Baptist Church, Saundersfoot; Amanda Morris and Mike Rossiter; Mini Market; Tenby Observer, along with many private individuals too many to mention.
